Will This Invitation Be Your Last Opportunity?

If you become separated from fellowship, you will soon distance yourself from Christians and then from the Lord Jesus. This process is inevitable. The world will become more relevant to you than the church and you will find yourself agreeing with those who are at home in the world and its systemic values.

Many names come to mind of people who were born again, water baptized, and Spirit filled but are now back in the world and living sinful lives they once would not have believed possible. To them, I urge “Come home!” While you still can! Before it’s too late!

Massive disruptions and cataclysms are now happening daily. The Second Coming is to my mind very close at hand, but the snatching away of the church is even closer, and it could take place at any moment! Many inspired writers of the New Testament refer to the Resurrection but to the Apostle Paul alone God revealed the mystery of the catching away of the church. It’s not about the Jews generally or Israel in particular but about the removal of the Church

without prior warning. And it is close!

Read Jeremiah 13:17 and hear the voice of God in your heart. Then read Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians, chapter 4, verses 13 to 17. Recently, the Spirit of God spoke to my heart about the blessed condition of those who will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air, and the dreadful state of those who will be left behind.

Those who will be caught up to meet their Lord Jesus will “remember the former things no more”. Family. friends, others dear to them: none of those left behind because they were unready will ever come to the minds of those who disappeared in a moment, in “the twinkling of an eye”! In the minds of those taken up to meet the Lord it will be as though those left behind never existed.

As for those left behind, they will enter a time of trouble that will prove worse than anything before it in all of history. The worst time ever! But worse still will be the fact that they will never forget, no matter how hard they try, that they refused the Lord’s invitation to be with Him forever — for eternity. Self-recrimination worldwide will be rampant. Cries of regret in the mouths of those who put-off the many times they felt the pull of the Spirit of God to repent, to turn 180 degrees, to get right with God, will rise amid the blasphemies against God of those who chose Hell rather than Heaven as their home forever. They will await the Great Judgement of God and the death sentence that will have no appeal.

Meantime, during the terrifying times before the Judgement, the only way those left behind survive (if survival will be possible) will be for them to die for their witness at the hands of those who hate God and Jesus and Christians and everything that speaks of those who are now safely with their Lord Jesus in Heaven. Hatred will be the Order of the Day.

Is that what you want for yourself and for your loved ones? If you are ready and willing to turn to Jesus now, whoever you are and wherever you are, pray this heartfelt prayer:

“Dear God, I know that I have sinned and am unworthy to be saved; but I do believe that Jesus died for my sins, that he took upon himself the judgement that awaited me. So, I ask you to forgive me, to cleanse me from all my sins through the shed blood of Jesus on the Cross. I now believe and I do confess my sins and acknowledge Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. Now please guide me to genuine Christians and to a church which still teaches and preaches the truth of the Bible without compromise. I pray this in the Name of your Son, Jesus Christ.”

Amen! God be with you!
