When God’s Sovereignty and Your Responsibility Coincide

Years ago, the Lord spoke to my heart about the nearness of the outpouring of His Spirit in Australia. I ‘saw’ a gathering of rain clouds heavy with water. The words came to me: “There are no cloudless prophetic skies over Australia.” The clouds were heavy with promises of an Australia-wide outpouring, made by Smith Wigglesworth, Jim Spillman, and other men and women of God.

I met Jim Spillman, who shared his vision with me of a miracle revival as his aircraft descended into Brisbane on his first visit. Although Jim and other ministers are no longer with us, the coming to pass of their prophecies was never dependent on them being alive.

.No prayer goes unanswered! God hears and records every prayer, and answers them when the time arrives. That time, I believe, is fast approaching here in Australia,

I believe that God does not always act sovereignly and independently but at times in response to the faithful prayers of His people. Just as He judges the wicked when the “cup of iniquity” is full, He also acts when our prayers fill “the cup” of Heaven’s required condition. In other words, when our faithfulness in praying and God’s time to act sovereignly come together. We each pray for someone or something not knowing how many others are being led by the Lord to do likewise.

Who knows, your prayer may be the one that at last ‘fills the cup’?
