What it Means is This

We need to know what we believe and why, if we are to win this lost world to the Lord Jesus. Wishy-washy ‘feel good’ messages that are more like massages simply will not do it. God’s message speaks for itself, so we don’t need to interrupt. The real Christian message isn’t hard to understand by those whose hearts are open and willing to receive it. Our role is not to defend the teachings of Jesus, but to do them so that others can see them.

We are called to love others whether we like them or don’t. We know God personally, speak to him intimately, follow him lovingly, and serve His Son faithfully. The Christmas Season does not last long, but the change of heart that comes from receiving the Lord Jesus is not just lasting but everlasting — “forever and ever” — no Amen.

If you are not yet a Christian, allow me to say that you were not born to just live this life and then die without receiving Jesus. God wants you to live forever — starting from now. You’ll begin to do so spiritually from the moment he enters your open, willing heart, and will continue to do so physically in a resurrected body, when Jesus returns.

So lift your heart to God, wherever you are, and tell Him that you are ready and willing to accept Jesus as the Lord of your life. The moment he becomes your Lord you’ll begin a new kind of life — a heavenly one you’d not have thought possible, and yet one that is down-to-earth; a way of living that’s full of possibilities, one that brings a daily sense of ‘on your toes’ expectancy! Why live a half-life when you can live a full one?
