Things that are Hard to Comprehend

The Apostle John could scarcely comprehend that he and the other disciples had “touched” the Word of life that was “from the beginning”! (I John 1:1)

Do you know Jesus as your Saviour? You do, great! Have you come to see the invisible God in His beloved Son? If so, praise Him! Is it awesome to you that in His Son God expressed Himself so uniquely, so humanly, so perfectly, and so completely? “My Lord and my God!!” exclaimed Thomas.

The NT Greek reads: “The Lord of me and the God of me!” Jesus was “the image of the invisible God”. Visible in the real Person of His beloved Son.

No one can know these things unless the Spirit of God reveals them. The next step is to know that you are “in” the Father and the Son; that is, are in a relational unity with both; not just that you are in them but that they are in you. What a relationship! What a blessed fellowship! Think about it! Even better, be thankful for it, spend time in it, and enjoy it!
