Some Things are Simply Wrong!

You shall not boil a baby goat in its mother’s milk.” (Exodus 23:19)

The ability that made a business what it was has nothing in common with an outside company takeover that plans to sacrifice it. Some things are just inappropriate, but some things are just wrong.

“No creditor shall take the upper or lower millstone as a pledge, because it takes away the miller’s ability to make a living.”

The daily grind between Office and Sales will always bring friction, but for any business to work each needs the other.

“You shall not plow (plough) with an ox and an ass together.” (Deuteronomy 22:10)

It makes no sense teaming two staff members when it’ should be obvious that one can’t take the strain.

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers,” writes the apostle Paul, with this in mind. (2 Corinthians 6:14)

This goes for all proposed partnerships — not just marriage proposals.

“Do not muzzle the ox that treads out the grain.” (Deuteronomy 25:4)

Give your staff a bit of incentive; they do the same-old-same-old day after day so that you can turn a profit. (This principle is so basic the apostle Paul quotes it twice (1 Corinthians 9:9; 1 Timothy 5:18).
