God healed you in Jesus,
So then, healed you are,
There’s no need to wish
On some heavenly star.
The Cross was not cosmic
But rugged and Real.
Trust God’s Word in Jesus,
Not the way that you feel.
God sees you in His Son,
That’s your high position,
So, look through His eyes
See in faith, not condition.
Dwelling on that condition
Will just make you sadder,
Climb above in your thoughts
On the Heavenly Ladder. *
If your faith begins sinking
Call on Jesus your Saviour:
Who sees good intentions,
Forgives foolish behavior!
