Democracy is Falling but the Kingdom is Coming

Our nation is young compared with those such as Britain and others. The First Fleet arrived near what is now Sydney in 1788 and our role as a Dominion of Great Britain ceased in 1901, which was when the six states of Australia became a Federation.

Given time, our faithfulness to God and our preservation of Judeo-Christian values, our nation will become great. But those seeking to remove the English flag are out to remove ours as well. They would replace these unifying flags with multicultural flags that would foster division.

Tradition has its place, but in the case of the United Kingdom, which tradition? That of the Britons? The Anglo-Saxons? The flag of the Roman Empire? In Australia the “traditional custodians” were tribes that at times warred but respected one another’s borders; however, due to the vastness of the continent there was no concept of national identity.

Roman Emperor Julius Caesar’s dictum of Divide and Conquer served him well, and would do likewise for those who would bring the nations of today’s world into subjection. Their end goal is One World Government.

But even the biblical Kingdom of David was disordered at times, and those who read the Bible know that the kingdom of the Son of David alone can and will bring Divine order and peace worldwide; only that ruled by the son of David, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Until then, those nations whose laws, values and traditions are Bible-based must resist any form of diversity requiring they be subject to the endless demands of a One World Government.

Democracy has imperfections, but as a best-for now rule it works well and will until Jesus, the Son of God, returns and replaces it with his righteous (upright) rule over the nations.

The rate at which things are deteriorating worldwide, I might well live to see the return and rule of Jesus, and the replacement of democracy with his thousand-year kingdom; but should that not be so, I hope to see you in his kingdom (which you can enter now, spiritually and then fully through resurrection).
