Israel is Real. Israel is factual but Palestine is fictional. The Romans decided to punish the Jews for their AD32-36 revolt, 66 years after the AD70 destruction of the Temple. So, they banned Jews from living in or near Jerusalem on pain of death. So, many Jews moved into Galilee and most eventually were dispersed among the nations to the north. The Romans decided to punish the Jews for their AD32-36 revolt, 66 years after the AD70 destruction of the Temple. So they banned Jews from living in or near Jerusalem on pain of death. Many Jews moved into Galilee and were dispersed among northern nations.
The Romans renamed the Jew-free area “Palestinia”, a name derived by them from the area known long before as the home of the Philistines. They named it so in derision. Bible readers know it as the home of Goliath, who had four brothers, an area that had five cities, one of which was Gaza. (1 Samuel 17).
The Philistines themselves were from the northern shores of the Mediterranean, and had no hereditary claim to the area. We do know that they were the strongest and most persistent enemy of Israel, and remained undefeated until David’s army broke through their ranks like water from a broken-walled dam (1 Chronicles 14-20 & 2 Chronicles 17). Thereafter, the Philistines are mentioned merely in passing as troublesome bandits.
Today’s ‘Philistines’ emerged in the second half of the 20th century, after being expelled by the kingdom of Jordan and other Arab nations. Thereafter, very few lived in what was in 1948 recognized by the United Nations as the Nation State of Israel — then a bleak, unsettled and so unploughed wasteland. It had been for nearly 2,000 years.
However, in the following years, as a result of love of God and their Holy Land; and of their dedication; and of their hard work, Israel became the lovely land that it is today. A land never again to be taken from the Jews or the Jews taken from it. The Prophecy of The Valley of Dry Bones long ago foretold this modern restoration and is all but fulfilled.
I am not a Jew and have no Jewish ancestry, but being a Christian for 63 years, I am well aware of God’s unbreakable covenant with Abraham, and so view today’s would-be conquerors of Israel as hellbent on self-destruction. It is simply not possible that God would allow the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to be driven into the sea. It will not — cannot — happen!
If you do not believe me, then simply view TV channels other than those owned and controlled by the so-called Legacy Media, which Donald Trump terms “Fake Media”. (Tousi.tv is a reliable source) — and see for yourself.
Numerous empires and nations over thousands of years have tried to annihilate the Jews but failed miserably — most to their own destruction. But don’t take my word for it: read the Bible and find out for yourself and come to your own conclusion. I will pray that God will open your eyes to see, open your ears to hear, and soften your heart to the truth. I pray that Abraham’s natural descendants will do likewise.
Jesus was a Jew, and his enemies tortured him, crucified him, and buried him in a tomb — only to discover three days later that he had risen again, had showed himself alive to 500 of his followers — and then, to cap it all — Jesus ascended into the clouds in the sight of many witnesses.
Jesus will be back soon, so if I were you, I would surrender my life to him today. I would acknowledge him as my Lord to my loved ones and then encourage others to do likewise. God loves you and His Son Jesus died so that God could forgive you. What more could He have done? More to the point: What will you do? (John 3:16-17)
