The last thing that goes through a bug’s mind when it hits the windscreen of a vehicle is the rest of its body. The first thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is how wrong he was.
The when and where that discovery takes place is not as important as its certainty. Whatever view you may have on life after death, the Bible is clear “It is appointed unto everyone to die once, and after that the judgement.” (Hebrews 9:27)
The second thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is that the commandment “You shalt not kill” strictly prohibits murder, and that having murdered, he or she is guilty of breaking God’s Law, for which the punishment will be “the second death” — the death that will follow physical death.
The third thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is that genuine martyrs are not murderers. Martyrs don’t kill other people – other people kill them. Martyrs are faithful unto death; those who kill the faithful are murderers. Martyrs will be rewarded for faithful service; murderers will be judged and remanded for death by fire.
The fourth thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is that he has defamed the Name of the true God, who is holy, righteous, and good. He is also loving, kind, and merciful. Those who murder in His name misrepresent His nature and character. This is known as blasphemy.
The fifth thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is that acts done in anger are unacceptable to the True God. Vengeance belongs to God alone. A life lost in an act of hatred is not sacrificed — it is squandered. Whatever the reasoning behind the act, the hate-filled suicide bomber will have died for nothing.
The sixth thing a suicide bomber discovers after blowing himself up in the name of his death god is that his death ended any chance for change. His character is crystallized: “He that is filthy, let him be filthy still.” Death is the terminus in which the dead await Judgement. No question as to who was right or wrong. No option to consider. The suicide bombers future is fixed; God’s judgement is absolute. There is no right of appeal, no higher court, no possible pardon. “The second death” is final.
The death god’s suicide bomber should think before flicking the switch that will fix his fate forever. There is no second chance whatever of God’s forgiveness. Never. Not ever. Any god by any name that requires its followers to shed human blood is the opposite to the True God. His Jesus Son shed his innocent blood so that the True God could forgive everyone’s sins, grant us everlasting life, raise us up in immortal bodies, dissolve this present solar system, erase any memory of it from our minds, and create a new earth for those who in their lifetimes yielded their lives to Him through the Lord Jesus Christ, and lived to love one another.
So, to live in peace with the True God or to die in pieces for a death god? The correct answer is obvious.
